Sofía (Sofie) González Nuñez, LCSW

Supervised by Sonya Marie Gonzales, LCSW-S

Managing stress and developing healthy ways to cope with disappointment, pressure, and setbacks—both in life and within relationships—starts early. Learning these skills can shape how we navigate challenges and build resilience over time.

Through therapy, embracing your individuality can foster emotional strength and help you discover joy within yourself, even during life’s most challenging seasons. It’s about meeting your emotional needs and processing difficult feelings, rather than reacting defensively or through mere survival responses. Taking that first step toward healing is often the hardest, but finding someone who accepts you unconditionally and walks alongside you on your journey can make all the difference.

As a therapist, my goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where children, teens, and adults can face life’s challenges with greater confidence. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, anger, family conflict, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I am committed to supporting families with the same compassion and care I bring to each individual client, promoting growth and understanding within the entire family system. With extensive experience working with kids, teens, and young adults I understand the unique challenges young people face and focus on empowering them to develop healthy coping strategies and build meaningful connections and lives.
